GUILTY: Trump becomes first former US president convicted of felony crimes

Interesting..As Christianity’s main adversary, the notion of the devil as a lion would encompass all adversaries of the early church and act as an extended metaphor of temptation and danger.  In fact, the use of the ‘lion’ or ‘roaring lion’ is a reoccurring image seen throughout the Bible.

The lion is characterized as a beast that lurks in the dark and in hiding. These characteristics fit perfect with Peter’s description of the lion, or devil, as “prowling” in 1 Peter 5:8.  We see prowling characteristics on the lion personified in Psalm 10:8-10. “His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless. He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den… So, he crouches, he lies low, that the helpless may fall by his strength.” Like the malevolent oppressors described in the Psalm, the devil in 1 Peter 5:8 seeks to “devour” those who are helpless and weak in faith. The imagery and metaphorical use of the lion is regularly used by David in the OT.

When it comes to women, much of what has tripped out of Trump's mouth hasn't exactly been great. But now, despite his derogatory views on women and minorities, Trump is hoping to secure his second term as the 45th President of the United states of America. So, just in case you weren't feeling concerned enough about the potential outcome of Tuesday's US presidential election, here are 25 real things Trump has actually said about women.

1. "I'm automatically attracted to beautiful women — I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. When you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything." (Secret video recording, 2005)

2. "Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next next president? I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?" (About Carly Fiorina, his one-time Republican rival, 2015)

3. "We’re getting your husbands back to work. Everybody wants it." (Aimed at women attending a campaign rally in Michigan, 2020)

4. "I like kids. I mean, I won’t do anything to take care of them. I’ll supply funds and she’ll take care of the kids. It’s not like I’m gonna be walking the kids down Central Park." (An interview with Howard Stern, 2005)

5. "[Arianna Huffington] is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man - he made a good decision.(Twitter, 2012)

6. "[Kamala Harris is] this monster that was onstage with Mike Pence, who destroyed her last night, by the way. I thought that wasn't even a contest last night. She was terrible. I don't think you could get worse. And totally unlikeable." (In an interview the day after the vice presidential debate, 2020)

7. [About a 10-year-old girl] "I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?" (A leaked recording, 1992

8. [About New York Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] "This is not even a smart person, other than she's got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps." (In an interview with Fox Business Network, 2020)

9. "All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me - consciously or unconsciously. That's to be expected."(How to Get Rich2004)

10. "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?" (Twitter, 2015)

11. [About his daughter Ivanka] "… she does have a very nice figure. I've said if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." (ABC's 'The View', March 6, 2006)

12. [About his wife] "She's not giving me 100 percent. She's giving me 84 percent, and 16 percent is going towards taking care of children." (TIME, May 23, 2011)

13 . After Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly confronted Trump about his disparaging comments about women on live TV he called her "a bimbo" (Fox News, August 2015)

14. "Often when I was sleeping with one of the top women in the world I would say to myself, thinking about me as a boy from Queens, 'Can you believe what I am getting?'" (Think Big: Make it Happen in Business and Life2008)

15. "I have really given a lot of women great opportunity. Unfortunately, after they are a star, the fun is over for me."(ABC's 'Primetime Live', March 10, 1994)

16. [On women] "You have to treat 'em like shit." (New York magazine, Nov. 9, 1992)

17. "Rosie's a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie." He has also called Rosie rude, obnoxious, dumb, a pig, and pretty much every other insult you can think of. (About TV host Rosie O'Donnell who blasted Trump for having an affair and leaving his wife, 2006)

18. Trump blamed sexual assaults on women in the army on the fact that men and women were working together. "26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?" (Twitter, May 7, 2013)

19. "Women are really a lot different than portrayed. They are far worse than men, far more aggressive … " (The Art of the Comeback, 1997)

20. "You know who's one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She's 6 feet tall, she's got the best body. She made a lot money as a model - a tremendous amount." (The Howard Stern Show, 2003)

21. He compared Kristen Stewart to a dog and advised Robert Pattinson not to get back with her back amidst the couple's on/off relationship. (Twitter, October 17, 2012)

22. "You're disgusting," to a breastfeeding mother when she asked for a medical break during a legal deposition so she could pump breast milk for her 3-month-old daughter. (New York Times, July 2015)

23. Trump reduced all women's significance to being "a young and beautiful piece of ass", when he told an Esquire journalist in response to his bad press: "You know, it really doesn’t matter what they write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass. But she’s got to be young and beautiful." (Esquire, 1991)

24. "Sarah Jessica Parker voted 'unsexiest woman alive' – I agree" (Facebook, October 26, 2012)

25. "Now, somebody who a lot of people don't give credit to but in actuality is really beautiful is Paris Hilton. I've known Paris Hilton from the time she's 12, her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, 'Who the hell is that?'" (An interview with Howard Stern, 2016

Well, there we are then. Will Donald Trump remain the President of the United States? We'll have to wait and see.

CARNIVORE CRAZE

In todays video I review Mikhaila Peterson recent speech at the senate in which she exposes her own carnivore diet lies.

The Carb avoidance game is like avoiding your spouse to eliminate arguments. But as soon as you reintroduce communication (carbs) with your spouse, the arguments (sugar in blood) return. By avoiding the spouse, (carnivore diet) of course the arguments go away (no sugar to get trapped in blood) but …The issue never gets resolved, (insulin resistance) and over time kills the marriage. (Bad health)

Keto diet is a good short term fix for treating sick people. It's proven to help kids with seizures, autoimmune disorders, and is a quick strategy for weight loss and blood sugar control, but low/no carb diets are not meant to be a way of life. It can cause glucose intolerance in the long run, increasing your chances of developing diabetes and heart disease. Your body will forget how to process carbs, and it won’t know what to do when you introduce them back. If you never eat carbs your pancreas will fail, minimizing glucose receptors. Keto forces people to eliminate processed junk which obviously causes weight loss and lower blood sugar levels. This doesn’t mean you should avoid fruits and veggies. Our bodies aren’t designed to run on fat, they're designed to run on glucose. Blood glucose would be zero if we didn’t need it. This is why people on the carnivore and keto diets have horrible bad breath, smelly bowel movements, constipation, low testosterone, brain fog, anxiety, depression and body odor. A long term ketogenic state is not normal. It destroys healthy gut microbiome as well, which affects mood. It will be interesting to see the ramifications of this diet fad, because it has not been studied long term before, unlike diets rich in a variety of plants and animals which have been proven many times over for good health and longevity. Cutting out processed foods is the answer. Not restricting whole food groups. Dr. Atkins who started this high fat high protein low carb craze died obese from heart disease. That in itself is a bad omen.

The caveman evolution theory

Carnivory conjures up an Edenic past that contrasts with our current discontents: a mythical time when men were manly and bodies were fit and food was real and natural. It’s familiar terrain. The most successful diets of the past half century benefitted from similar marketing. Freedom and vigor come from reënacting the lifeways of make-believe ancestors. When, in the nineteen-seventies, Nathan Pritikin championed a high-carbohydrate, low-fat regimen, he and his co-authors claimed that it was “an accident of civilization” that Americans had such easy access to fat and cholesterol. “Primitive people” were “more likely to be near-vegetarians,” he asserted. When Robert Atkins promoted the opposite approach—carbohydrate restriction as the key to good health—he stressed that “the food you eat when you do Atkins is surprisingly close to what our primitive ancestors ate.” And in “Diet for a Small Planet” (1971), perhaps the most important tract in favor of meatless eating ever published, Frances Moore Lappé told her readers that she advocated “the return to the traditional diet on which our bodies evolved.”

Atkins Was Grossly Overweight and Sick
But the Media Loves the Dead Guy

On Tuesday, February 10, 2004 the fall of the Atkins Empire began with the publication of a medical report on Atkins’ body by the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, the City of New York.  This report was obtained legally and without deception by Richard Flemming, MD, a cardiologist from Omaha, Nebraska.  The report was then sent to Neal Barnard, MD, of the Physicians’ Committee for Responsible Medicine.  This organization gave the report to the Wall Street Journal and they made these findings public with an added note from the Journal that with a weight of 258 pounds and a height of 6 feet he would be properly classified as “obese.” That week I appeared on several national TV and radio shows, and was quoted in newspapers worldwide, including the New York Times – taking the position that his medical report was fair game because he was an icon in the diet industry, and the lessons learned from his poor health would save lives.

The Atkins organization denies he was grossly overweight and claims he weighed between 180 and 195 pounds.  They say his medical records indicate he weighed 195 pounds just before he entered the hospital at the time of his death.  They claim the additional weight, totaling 258 pounds reported by the medical examiner, was from fluid accumulation during his 9 days of hospitalization prior to his death.  That would mean 60 to 80 pounds of fluid,  equal to 8 to 10 gallons of water, would have been added to his body.  Any medical doctor who allowed this much fluid accumulation in a patient in 9 days should have his medical practices reviewed.

At the present time the media coverage of this story is largely in defense of Atkins.  Some of the press has labeled the release of the report of his poor health as a “Vegan Agenda,” and Mrs. Atkins, on Dateline (TV show), Friday, February 20, 2004, said those speaking against her husband are the “vegetarian Taliban” and “they’re nasty.”

No harm is intended for the Atkins family, but all this controversy is an opportunity to save countless lives of people who fail to understand the truth about human nutrition, and especially those who have been mislead by Dr. Atkins and his organization.  If people keep talking about the science behind low and high carbohydrate diets, then the evidence will eventually come out.  My hope is that the fight escalates.  For those of you who think maligning a dead man is in bad taste – think again – Atkins’ image is alive and well on TV, radio, newspapers, fast food restaurant menus, and supermarket shelves – making $100 million a year for Atkins Nutritionals Inc., selling people worldwide a program that results in short term weight loss (at best), is nearly impossible to follow, and eventually causes extremely poor health – the diet’s founder, Dr. Atkins, is one important piece of the proof.  When the Atkins business stops promoting him, I will stop criticizing him.

ADDICTION IS NOT A LIFE SENTENCE

Alcohol addiction can be compared to an addiction to a person, an unhealthy relationship. You become addicted to the highs and lows..like a drug. Obviously, it can take months to get over them after a break-up. But eventually, we all know, you do. That is, if you want to get on with life and move on to better things. However, some people choose to remain miserable for a lifetime, reliving their story of what happened over and over, looking for answers, sympathy, validation and closure. So they never take responsibility for their healing. They choose to remain a victim instead of choosing to thrive by surviving the bad relationship with new knowledge and skill. Alcohol addiction is no different. Some do the work it takes to overcome the cravings and habitual thinking patterns and repetitive actions, (breaking up getting back together...) while others don't. They're more comfortable identifying as a perpetual victim than doing the hard work. They love the lie that addiction is a lifelong disease they have no control over, because it's easier and safer than change. And honestly, I have no sympathy or patience for these never ending victim identifiers, because they exude negative energy bringing down everyone around them, which only breeds more negative energy. Then they expect the world to tiptoe around them so they don't get  "triggered". When instead, THEY need to be responsible for healing their triggers instead of expecting the world to change for them.

PEOPLE PLEASERS ARE EGOTISTICAL MANIACS

People pleasers are some of the most cowardly and cringeworthy to be around. They want to be liked by all, and so they are fake to all. I call them chameleons because they blend in with whoever they are around. They stand for nothing or no one for fear of offending anyone. They can’t be trusted for what they say or do because they’re always changing their minds and actions according to who they’re trying to please. It’s no secret we can’t please everyone, so people pleasers please no one in the end. In fact, they are only trying to please themselves by working so hard to be liked, so in reality people pleasers are very self centered egocentric people and I want nothing to do with them. Major red flags for me are when someone agrees with everything I say and acts exceedingly friendly or flattering. They’re either trying to groom me for their own perverse agenda, or they’re starving to be liked and admired. It makes me squirm to watch because again, it’s a show they’re putting on in order to feed their wounded ego. I appreciate and respect people who have a backbone, who aren’t afraid to disagree with me and who stands up for what and who they believe in. Not argumentative know-it-alls, but real, genuine, confident people. Confident people don’t try changing people and they don’t change who they are in order to gain popularity or acceptance. That’s why politicians creep me out so much, because they say what people want to hear then do whatever the hell they want no matter who it hurts in the end. People pleasers are always exposed eventually, as the fraudulent con-men they are.

FREEWAY

I just finished the cult classic "Freeway" with Reese Witherspoon and Kiefer Sutherland. At first I chalked it up to a low budget film with bad acting but I couldn't stop watching it. And I couldn't stop thinking about it for days after. In fact, I actually really liked it. It showed how our upbringing imprints our personality. Our personalities don't change, we are who we are and it made me accept my own quirky personality that I always thought was flawed. Just like Reese in the movie, I’m guilty of being brutally blunt and rough around the edges which can be offensive to many but it's really not by choice. It's how we’re imprinted when welcomed into this world by those who raised us. Reese wasn't a bad person just because she was raised in a bad environment around bad people, but she didnt take any shit and she spoke her mind without worrying about who she offended. She had the compacity to do some pretty horrible things yes, but only to people who did horrible things to her. She had no problem matching punishment with the crime, and I loved this young girl for her grit! She was raw, geniune, and unapologetically authentic. Such a rare thing today in a world of fakes, frauds and conmen. It also shows how immoral, unethical and cruel the legal system is. But that didnt stop Ms Witherspoon from taking the law into her own hands, and beautifully so I must admit. If only more women would be as brilliantly brave as her, more men would think twice before taking advantage of innocent young women, because the law fails them the majority of the time and these creeps know it. So if you haven't seen the movie I highly recommend it! I no longer feel bad about being rough around the edges and ability to offend people with speaking my truth. Like the young hero in this cult classic, I'm not a bad character out to hurt people, or manipulate and destroy. I'm as gentle as a dove, despite being raised by sick and dangerous people. My flaw, like Reese, is being unapologetically authentic. I guess in a world full of people pleasers and phoneys , this can be quit unnerving. Imprinting is a very enlightening topic to research BTW and explains so much about “personality” which is much different than “character”. The young girl in the movie was not a bad character. Despite her upbringing she had values and principles. Her perverted perpetrator however, was a very bad character. So just because one has a traumatic upbringing does not create a bad character. That is a personal choice, and those are very dangerous people. And unfortunately they run ramped amongst us in everyday life, coming across as having very sweet charming personalities, because personalities can be faked. Character can not..  Personality refers to the unique set of traits, behaviors, and patterns of thinking that make up an individual's social and emotional style. Character, on the other hand, encompasses the moral and ethical qualities of a person, including integrity, honesty, and accountability. While personality reflects how someone typically behaves, character reflects their underlying values and principles.
